Monochrome Violet? Not!

I love Rainbow Lady's challenges! Imaginative & with oodles of space for creativity. But this week I have failed & should be disqualified! I post my card nonetheless with a sense of arrogant pride: I tried, did not make the grade, but still have a card which is perfect for my nearly 30 year old step-daughter!

As you say a hand made card for someone you love - what could be better than that. I love it anyway SammieJay and I am sure your stepdaughter will too.
Love Cynthia x

I think it's really lovely Sammie - not sure how you have cheated though cos it looks like it is all one shade of violet to me!! Lovely card and I like the little ribbon touch joining the stems. xx

How can you say you failed the challenge? It's shades of lavender(or purple if you prefer) and it's lovely. The white backing paper is no different to stamping an image in black and that's allowed. It's a beautiful card.

This card is beautiful Sammie Jay and I agree with Beryl - it's shades of purple on white so you haven't failed!! Your stepdaugter will love it :)
Thank you so much for the comments you left about my own entry for the monochrome challenge. To answer your question, I created the image from several stampscapes stamps and altough I haven't tried to reproduce a specific place, the english lake district is where I've lived all my life and where I can't help but take my inspiration from so your question pays me a huge compliment :))

You . . . . . a failure !!!! . . . . never !!!
It's a beautiful card & I think it will definately qualify.

Thank you so much for my lovely PIF. It arrived yesterday which was perfect timing as it was my birthday.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wasn't sure about the blue Tilda on my cute card Thursday card.
I colour using Whispers markers &, as you know, I only started stamping last week so have used watercolour paper & must say I find it so much easier to blend the colours . . . . . . listen to me, the expert LOL!!!.
I'm loving this stamping lark & have just ordered 4 sugar nellie stamps (birthday pressie to self!!)
Talk soon
Sharon :-)x
