Look Out -Here Comes Audrey II !!!

I can't believe I've not blogged in over a week -nor made a card! I've been doing long days & evenings in the theatre on "Little Shop of Horrors". The show has had standing ovations every night & the feeling's fantastic. Anyway for those of you who have been asking, here are a couple of shots of the man-eating plant!

Hi Sammie - I've had a problem with blogger not letting me go on other people's blogs - very frustrating! Glad your show was a success - and best of luck to your son. You must be so proud. Santuzza??? - no guess what they gave it to one of their own who couldn't reach the notes and offered me Lola. I told them I'd sung Santuzza before as well as Violetta, Countess, etc and the MD was shocked - he said he wished he'd known before the auditions - I suggested next time he might like to get to know the people he has auditioning for him. On the plus side - I and a few others from our old opera company who are also fed up with cliques are going to start up our own - We so far have two sops, a tenor, and a bass. Cosi is looking on the cards - watch this space! We have a director and possibly an MD - all we need now is places to sing!

Hi Sammie,
Thanks so much for your comments on the card. Sometimes it helps to get someone elses perspective. It's too late to unstick the mats but I see what you mean about it needing more dimension. Lisa suggested an extra flower but I haven't any more or that paper so I might take those off and make some more. The swirl is a die cut - Sizzix - which has been through my Cuttlebug.
Take care and thanks again.
Beryl xx
