A Stitch in Time......

could have saved 900! My duvet began to split & I didn't mend it for yonks till... the whole seam came undone! I hadn't used my machine for years -sew before I began I fiddled around on a piece of card for fun to ease me into the chore-bore! This card is the result & is for the PTW challenge.

Hi SammieJay, thanks so much for your lovely comments on my stitching card - you have a fab blogsite here, really interesting x
You asked about the stitching, it is a fab download, really cheap from one of those digital websites I mentoned in my blog, here is the url, once up, type stitches in the search and you will be surprised how many fab things are out there and really cheap. I just dragged it onto the paper on the computer, sized it, printed it off and voila - dead simple - Enjoy!!! By the way can you tell me how to do those fab bows?

Hi SammieJay,
Lovely to here from you. I've just been looking around your work to see what I've missed over the summer. There's some great work here. I think this one is brilliant. Did the duvet ever get done though?

Hi, Sammie, thanks for your visit and great comment. Lilac and Lemon super together - one day I'm going to get my sewing machine out instead of cheating with the faux.

Hi Sammie - great card and stitching. Thanks for your comment on my stitched card - you asked about the order I did it in. Well .. on my card it is faux stitching, so I just cut out my pieces of paper, pricked lines of dots, drew in my stitches, and then used the papers for matting and layering ... easy peasy!! I'm afraid that tackling a real sewing machine would be far too difficult for me LOL - so well done!

Fab card SammieJay. I see you're originally from Cromer, I live in Bradwell, Great Yarmouth which is just up the coast from there.
How fab your hubby is a professional opera singer, no wonder you're proud of him.
