Well I Never...

tried to colour a stamp! So I grabbed the kids' school watercolour crayons then scoured the house for... a brush! Now a brush is well outside my comfort zone & it was just as tricky as I thought it would be! But I now have a card for my son's birthday & have completed the Created by Hand challenge.

Sammie Jay, you did beautifully with your first attempt coloring with a brush! This card is amazing and I admire your willingness to go outside your comfort zone. Great work!

A personal message: I just want you to know that my heart sank with your comment (on my blog) about what is going on in your life. I am so happy that you have come back to this creative outlet to help cope. Just so you know, my Friend, as you travel this road ahead of you, always, always remember that there are people, like me, who care so much for you and who want only the very best for you! You are in my thoughts and deeply in my heart!

Aren't you glad you tried something new!
I was in your neck of the woods at the end of July with the local Youth Orchestra which I coach for - BEAUTIFUL scenery! Concerts in Montreux, Evian and Thonon.
Did you find Patti's video helpful? If you like to make a mess, this is the technique to try!

You did such a great job that I'll bet you'll be stamping and coloring all the time now. Your birthday card is wonderful.

Me again. Love your blog. You commented on my angel stamp. I'm sorry I can't give you specifics. I bought it at Ben Franklin Craft store. The only marks on it say the following: e-2735 Santa Rosa CA Made in USA copyright 1999 PSX.

OK. It's me again and you can delete these messages since you have to approve messages. I found that the PSX is the name of a stamp company in California. It stands for Personal Stamp Exchange and has been in business for a long time. Hope this helps. Faye
